This north-south express route ran between Northgate and Downtown Seattle via East Green Lake. Weekday service ran from 5:15 AM to 1:30 AM and weekend service ran from 6:45 AM to 1:30 AM[1]. Service was interlined with route 131 and route 132 .

Northbound trips departed 4th Avenue S and S Royal Brougham Way coming off of route 131 or route 132 north on 4th Avenue S, west on Prefontaine Pl S, west on Yesler Way, north on 3rd Avenue, east on Battery Street, north on Borealis Avenue, north on 7th Avenue N, north on Aurora Avenue N, east on Bridge Way N, north on Stone Way N, east on N 40th street, north on Latona Avenue NE, east on E Green Lake Way N, north on Woodlawn Avenue NE, north on 1st Avenue NE, west on N 80th Street, north on Wallingford Avenue N, east on N 92nd Street and north on 1st Avenue NE to Northgate Transit Center.

Southbound trips departed Northgate Transit Center south on 1st Avenue NE, west on N 92nd Street, south on Wallingford Avenue N, east on N 80th Street, south on 1st Avenue NE, south on Woodlawn Avenue NE, south on 4th Avenue NE, west on NE 65th Street, south on Latona Avenue NE, west on N 40th Street, west on Bridge Way N, south on Aurora Avenue N, south on 7th Avenue N, west on Wall Street and south on 3rd Avenue, continuing as route 131 or route 132.

During morning peak hours, about half of all southbound trips started at East Green Lake (NE Ravenna Blvd & Woodlawn Avenue NE) instead of Northgate Transit Center.
