The Victoria Regional Transit System is the public transit provider in Greater Victoria, Sidney and Sooke in British Columbia, formerly known as the Capital Region Transit System. Transit service levels, routes, fares, and budget are determined by the Victoria Regional Transit Commission. Management for whole system and operations are provided by BC Transit with input from Victoria Regional Transit Commission. Regular service is provided by BC Transit while HandyDart systems are contracted out to Transdev Canada.
