Route Details
AM: The route starts on Keele Street at Rutherford Road, then operates via north on Keele Street, west on Major Mackenzie Drive West, north and east on McNaughton Road, north on Keele Street, west on Drummond Drive, Melville Avenue, Brandon Gate Drive, and American Avenue, south on John Deisman Boulevard, east on Tierra Avenue, south on Jane Street, east on Major Mackenzie Drive West, south on Melville Avenue, and west on Springside Drive to the bus stop #3839 at Parktree Drive directly in front of the school.
PM: Buses follow the reverse AM routing.
History
- January 2, 2005 - Route 462 begins service.
- September 3, 2006 - Route is extended to operate between the school and Keele Street and Rutherford Road.
- September 2, 2008 - Routing is modified to operate via east on McNaughton Road, north on Keele Street, and west on Drummond Drive to route. Service along Cranston Park Avenue is removed.
- August 27, 2012 - Route is revised to operate via America Avenue, John Deisman Boulevard, and Tierra Avenue as a result of the restructuring of route 87.
- June 2019 - Effective at the end of June 2019, route 462 was to be discontinued for the next and future school years (but ended up not being cancelled, and recommenced operations in September 2019).
