MiWay 1301-1314

MiWay 1301-1314 are New Flyer XD40 buses built in 2013.
In January 2013, a tender was issued for the supply of 14-40' BRT diesel buses. New Flyer was the only one to respond to the tender at a cost of $6,488,580, and they were awarded the contract in February 2013.
Delivery began in September 2013, and the buses began entering service in December 2013.
The interior features 38 4ONE Aries passenger seats with Holdsworth Fabrics CAA321 "Cream/blue sixties" fabric. Individual reading lights and power outlets are located throughout the interior. A folding wheelchair ramp is located at the front door of the bus. Rear doors are passenger operated utilizing Vapor's CLASS sensor system. All Windows are flush mounted and of the tip-in transom design manufactured by Arow Global. Heating, ventilation, and cooling are provided by a roof-mounted Thermo King unit.
Beginning in 2022, all buses in the MiWay fleet had unprotected forward facing seats blocked off or removed. These changes reduced the seating capacity from 38 to 37 seats.
